i think your asking a lot to have this thing divided into 3 classes at any point... 10.5 OR 13.5 lipo (7.4v) is pee in your pants fun, and 13.5 OR 17.5 4c or 1/s should be the starter class... me, i'm puting my 5 y/o in a 17.5 7.4v lipo car..

GT2: 200mm 4C/13.5

Me personally Im in the GT2 camp and hopefully can run my Pantoura back home with the growing WGT class now that Im all graduated from college and what not.
Ignoring the ROAR announcement?

Bill, I'm putting together a ROAR and IIC legal lipo car (3.7v and 13.5). Planning on to run at Ripon and Las Vegas.

Jim,

Excellent!

Is that using the Novak Smart Boost?

I'm on board...

Edit: I went back and read a few pages and figured that for simplicity sake (and to keep from further fracturing the class which would be to its detriment) I agree with tallyrc's idea but just have the 6C/2S/10.5 for the LMP and the 4C/1S/13.5 for WGT. My only thing is that there are a lot more very good looking GT bodies and I would rather not see this turn into a one or two body class.

Here's a link to the updated World GT rules. There are a couple of new bodies on the list, the McAllister Ferrari and a new body from Protoform, which I believe will be the Maserati GT

can't wait to see the new bod from protoform... the ferrari is already a good looking body too..... the battery situations is such a difficult predicament... i see why folks want to slow it down with the 4c/2s packs, but for me it is a simplification thing.. 3 cars, 2 kids, one power source and that is 7.4v lipo.. plus i just run for fun at a good size high bite outdoor asphalt track..
