Default D/r? Epa? Arc? Sub-t? Help!!

Sup guys...

One thing I am having problems with, is what all these adjustments do on my radio! I am a fairly intelligent guy, but for some reason having difficulty figuring out what all this stuff does. Let me start by saying that the manual that comes with the airtronics MX-3 leaves much to be desired in the way of radio settings explinations...

Can anybody lay down a nice lamen term explination for what all this does? And maybe some tips on where to set what?

D/R for st,th, and aux
EPA for st,th, and aux
ARC for st,th, and aux
SUB-T for st,th, and aux

Thanks for any help you guys can offer this advanced newbie.

This should help. Pick up the October issue of Radio Control Car Action. It has a great article on what all the radio functions do.

Also, the February 2003 issue of RCCA had a product review of the MX3 and the JR XR3. I'm looking at it now and it explains alot.
