Are you running 24mm rims. Looks like you rims are to wide. I hear that when I use my 26mm by accident.

Looks & sounds like a problem A few of us guys had when we were running the X-ray T2. It was the cvd's reaching their limit angle, If you think about of the cvd joint as a cup that fits around a ball , there is an angle that is the limit around where the cvd binds, that seems to me the noise in the video. It's hard to see in the vid but I think I saw a cvd in the dark & gloom, If indeed this is the case & you believe this is the noise then do a search on the T2 thread for "binding cvd" or something to that effect, it was explained quite well.
hope this helps.

I would say that the CVD-joints are are worn (which is very normal) and are having therefore too much slop. Solution: replace new parts (and install with Tamiya's Anti-wear-grease)...

Yup, it's the CVD's or dogbones. I believe the sounds is actually coming from the universal making contact with the diff outdrives. That was what happened to my old Xmod 1:28th scale car. I got universals and put in resistors so the servo would go full lock, but the universals grinded like that.

Wow that's really painful to listen to...
