Looking forward to this race This format really was fun the last 2 times Scotty ran it.
Scotty allows LiPo's at his track and at the recent IIC so I am sure they will be legal here.
I never heard of a FDR limit at a race is this common elsewhere?

I would say yes as well as long as they are charged in a lipo sack.

hi guys, things are shaping up well for the SRTN. just finalized some things and want to let everyone know.

Tires will be 32 Compound. GIJOE is correct these tires will be the new QTS series. Entry form will be out in a couple of days and the first 75 entries to sign up will receive a Much More Goodie bag that will include Much More goodies and 1 set of Much More Sweep QTS 32 tires. Again this will be to the first 75 entrants.

AS Ottman said, this format is the coolest race format you can experience. It encompasses the best of all forms of racing, plus even if you have a bad weekend, you atleast get 6 runs and if you make the top 32 you get 9 runs.

MJK: Yes Lipo batteries are allowed, you will need to charge them in a Lipo Bag. Voltage will be teched before you run cannot exceed 8.44v and Temp cannot exceed 110 F. This will be teched before each heat.
There is no FDR set. it is up to the race.

all entry info will be available after the weekend So stay tuned. Call your friends, tell your buddies. Trackside starts off the indoor season in 1 month with the Much More SRTN. I hope you guys can make it.

Thanks,
Scotty.

Hi guys,

It will be post mark date just like normal. Not going to do any online sign up.

Will have them posted this week.

As boomer said Roar 13.5

Great Drew is going to strap on some Rubberz to run with us ( dont get stupid guys) It will be great having Drew here for this event.

EA also mentioned at the IIC that he might be able to make it. if his schedule worked out. That would be great!

Wonder if Brad Johnson will be able to run?

Maybe I can Bribe my new team mate to wrench on my ride so I can run?

Really looking forward to this and hope that everyone can spread the word and make this a great event.

Would be awesome to have Mike Haynes and Larry Fairtrace make the trip. We will have to wait and see.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks
Scotty

That sucks...Your car was dialed at the IIC....just not much luck when it counted.

I am going to check and see if I can make it up for the race but not sure yet. Ive always wanted to race with this format since reading about it a few years ago. Leave it to Scotty to bring something like this to the US for us to enjoy!
