We have played with the 12t version of the motor in a 4WD Mini Xpress using a 35-38mm rollout. The motor goes hard !!!

One of the drivers Hobbywing and I are sponsoring will be trying the eZRun 60A with the 8.5T in his ZX5 at Trax70. He loves the 18A and 35A. He also won a oval race at the LHS' modified Recoil class with the eZRun 35A ESC.

I've noticed some sites advertising these and their rebadged copies as "Dustproof and Waterproof" Is this the case?
If not, how tolerant are they considering the boat esc seems quite similar besides water jackets on the heatsink.

Is this actually a 540 motor as I was told it was a 380 size motor, just with the can mounts up as a 540?
Is it a Sintered Rotor?
What FDR (ball park area) would we gear a 1:10 Truck at such as a Stampede or a Evader
Some stores claim the 60A esc can shut down if motor temp is too high? Can it? How is this possible for a sensorless system.
