Modified 12th scale brushless options

What are the best brushless motor/ESC options for 12th scale modified on carpet. Would a 3.5 be too much?

I'd say 5.0 or 5.5 on most tracks, 4.5 on larger tracks.
3.5T would probably take the car into orbit :)

Hey Uriah,

I use a Orion 4.5 in my 1/12 timing turned all the way down, 22/96 with 1.70rear tire.
