Default TA-05 Question :)

Need a hand guys...
Was wondering how i go about adding some tension to my belts? Im not sure how to go about it.... For the ta-05. and the ta-05ifs... i have both.

Please let me know

You can adjust the diff bearings cam to get a proper tension.

I think its a lot easier to point you to the manual rather than explain the process , its easy but in words , not so much.

I dont have the manual with me , but its towards the last few pages , on the top right corner - used it a few days ago

If you dont have manual , you can download it from tamiyausa or a few other sites , just google

The socket where the outdrive bearing sits has a series of notches in it, with an inner piece that has a "knob" that sits in the notch. As you rotate this it moves the bearing (and therefore diif) either forward or backwards. I have found with the standard belts you almost have it all the way forward to get good tension
