Default Where does the signal come from the transmitter antenna, for concealed controller use

On the antenna of a transmitter, where does the signal actually come from, is it just the tip of the antenna, or does the entire antenna broadcast the signal?
Because i am creating a pair of pants where i can hide a controller, and am thinking about cutting a little section so a little piece of the antenna will be on the outside of the pants.

Pretty sure that it's the whole antenae, but you'll have a longer range with a longer antenae.

The signal eminates from the entire antenna. Fabric probably wont block the signal so it wouldnt matter if the antenna was inside btw. Your body will however block some of the signal.
