Default racing

i have only raced VTA 1 time, all i can say is that i should have got in to it early!!!!! i enjoy the racing, and not bring a laptop to the track. man touring car has got so hi tech. i own 2 hpi sprints, out of the box handle great, but with mods handle better. i now race only 1/8 nitro, VTA AND MAYBE a hpi blitz ese. thats all i want. the losi 2.0 e i have is 4-sale with a monster mamba speed control with 1800 kv motor 400.00

I didn't paint this body, but i designed and cut the vinyl masks. Turned out pretty good, i'd say.

Kudos to woodys3b for laying that paint.

Maybe now the 88 can find victory lane. Not having much luck with Jr

She does look ready to race ! Nice work

Default Tires?

I know that these aren't the VTA Spec tire, but I was wondering if anyone here has tried the HPI Vintage Performance tires and how they compare to the Spec Vintage Racing tire. Thanks for the input in advance-Mike

3 words......."DON'T DO IT !!. We tried these out on our outdoor, smooth concrete track thinking that the nice hot Florida sun would give us some good grip. WRONG ! Tire wear was terrible also. 1 race day and I already had a semi bald tire. Stick with the D's....your wallet will thank you.

I was hoping the tread design might be a bit better. Guess not. Thank you both for your input.

Not really to VTA rules as I'm running slicks, but it still looks the part.
