That's the front straight at Road America. The wrecking began before the flag stand. It was a bloodbath. I can't recall if this was an HSR or SVRA race. Even rich folks do some REALLY stupid things sometimes.

I was gonna say, it looked a lot like Road America! Shame all those cars were crunched up. Im thinking someone missed a shift during a start and was rear-ended, causing a spin and ensuing pile-up. Or it could be like the runoffs a few years ago where I believe the pole sitter had his transmission blow up on the way to the flag... That was a pretty crazy wreck! Lots of onboard cameras to see that one on youtube.

I wish the Corvette was a legal VTA car Pete just because that's my favorite era vette body, but I guess it wasn't run in the series.

Mr McAllister asked me for pictures of my car with the body lowered at the proper race height. Here are those pics. I ran it for the first time last night on my TC6.1 that I also ran for the first time last night and the pair performed very well. I was contending for the win until a late race mistake ended my bid for the win, but I made one heck of a race of it. I was told it was a fun race to watch.

It was fast. I picked up almost a half second per lap on average!

My VTA, the '68 Camaro, not my favorite body, but it rides real low.

Wheel nuts will help it corner more consistently.
Nice paint. Like the wheels.

You could always just paint one for the shelf.
