you know your invited to come down and put a fender on it to, but I believe there is a line forming, so you will have to take a number.

It's all I can do to hold my own line without trying to take shots at someone else. Still I like new tracks and new friends. I like road trips. I'm guessing you are nine hours away from me. Where are you again?

Just finished cutting out a new HPI 68 Camaro body. Its going to be a really different approach. Hope to get it done in the next week or so. The Genesee Beer one next to it is one I did a few months ago. I'm going to start running it, but wanted to wait until I beat the #!!#! out of my current body just a little bit longer. I try to get them to a 50/50 shoo goo/lexan ratio before I retire them.

I know. The mustang I ran at the southern nats has a whole corner missing off of it from the headlight down. I tend to save the pretty ones for the big events.

So you cut out before paint. Whats your theory behind that. I always cut out after?

I cut out and mount the body before I paint, just to ensure it will fit right and line up. overspray doesn't matter cuz of the film.

I do it this way also. Makes it much easier to line up body post holes and to not scratch the paint when cutting it out.
