Thanks Greg! I suppose "Labrador livery" is more appropriate than "family stripes."

Window trim and bumpers were masked and painted. Numbers TBD...

The cars look good and are pretty close to Sublime Green and Hemi Orange lol.. I'm sure those schemes look good going around the track too.

I received a Vaterra 69 Camaro body to paint. First time I've seen one of these up close. It's a beautiful body. Wow. Super crisp lines. All precut.

Only thing I don't understand is why Vaterra would pre drill holes in it. Pretty much kills anyone buying it for another brand chassis. Dumb.

Will this body be USVTA approved?

It was addressed when it first came out.

Not a real "from the factory" body style. Never ran in Trans Am. So he said it would not be.

If you paint it and run it, I won't tell, and I don't think anyone from our track reads this, so you should be okay...

Its not for me Gary, its from a guy in Idaho that shipped it to me to paint.

Up there, they decided that they would create a Vaterra VTA class I guess. All are running the box stock Vaterra only chassis/motor/esc.

Mopar, that might be the reason. I'll measure it. That would make sense.

I think Crispy is thinking of the wicked 69 Mustang body that came with the new HPI Vaughn Gittin Jr drift car. Its a highly modified Mustang and wasn't legal for that reason.

You might want to re-think that.
