My First VTA Body!
Just sprayed the paint today. A tribute 1966 Mustang of Dr. Dick Thompson and Jim Sutter. According to HistoricTransAm.com, this was the first car to enter the Trans Am series, hence the number 1, and the fastest qualifier at the first race. Pretty cool history and I don't recall seeing anyone else do up the same paint job, so it should be something different at the track.
*Disregard the wheels and tires, it will have proper HPI wheels/tires when it races.

Love both cars. Very nice and clean classic paint jobs. Looks wonderful guys.

Just finished my own rendition of the 1969 Bud Moore #16 Mustang originally driven by George Follmer with a little help from Custom Racing Stickers. The McAllister is a decent body but the tail end is a little out of scale. Can't wait to get it on the track.

I'm going to have to get one of those Hot Wheels now to display it with my VTA ride!

Are Those Hot Wheels by any chance, I love those vintage cars, The Javelin One, in the 2012 muscle series is a real looker, also for any Javelin guys here you should get out on ebay and get those Muscle Mania versions with the red, white and blue scheme similar to the Penske one (which they made as well) nice cars, and a good addition to anyone's vintage TA ride
