One came in to our LHS a couple weeks later and I snagged it. It has held up really well. I am very happy with it!

Let Andy know that you are happy with it. I took one to the Endurance race at Thunder late last year and passed it around and we even weighed it. Its about 30 grams heavier and a lot more durable. The lines arent quite as tight, but its a nice looking shell and much better against the abuses of racing.

Default Goodyear tire lettering

Does anyone know where to get the Goodyear lettering on the sides of the tires? I know they come with the HPI Shelby body but is there another (cheaper) way to get them? thanx

As I understand this...the "new" version of the Cuda is the same part #....is there any way of knowing which one is actually in the bag when we buy?

Yes it is the same part number. I guess the easiest way to tell would be to push in on the grill area. The originals were VERY flimsy here. The new ones are pretty sturdy.

Thats what I guessed. My original Cuda body held up very well...except for that lower grill/spoiler area. The Cuda and the Shelby are first on the list for the return to VTA.

Camaros had them also but I'm wondering if they are being phased out. A buddy and me each bought a Shelby body recently. Mine had the Goodyear stickers his did not.
