Silver outline on the numbers? That would look good.

I meant silver for the outline of the stripes.
It's the white part. (which is masking too)
I dont think I will outline the numbers.
Cutting the numbers out in same sizes were a big pain.
It's way too hard to mask outlines for curves on the numbers.

Ahh ok, I get it now. That sounds good, not sure about the Lime green though. That's just me, I'm not much of a green kinda guy. I just can't picture too well in my mind, but I have heard of some colors together and thought ewwww, but when I saw it it looked good. I'm sure yours will turn out great man, go for it.

This thread has convinced me, beyond a doubt, to get into VTA this year. Such great paint jobs!

Does anyone know where I can get a sheet of letter paint masks for 1/10 bodies? I've looked on amainhobbies and the Parma website and haven't found any so far.

In a related vein, I'm trying to plan out a "vintagized" version of Jeff Gordon's NASCAR livery on an HPI Camaro, and I'm having a little trouble picking out colors. I'm planning on it being predominantly blue, with a red nose and a few other colors in small bits. I can't post pictures on here, but http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/1998-nascar-4.jpg gives a pretty good idea of the colors I'm looking for, although maybe a slightly darker blue for the main body. Also, can anyone give me advice on how to go about masking the DuPont logo without it ending up all wonky? I'm very new to painting, so any advice helps.

Thanks!
