This is my first attempt at a VTA body. It's not perfect, but I'm pretty happy with it. I was inspired me Sam Posey's 1970 Challanger.

You know, you don't see that many challengers. There's a lot of mustangs, camaros, and cudas, but very few challengers.

Thanks. I'm also running a Serpent S411. I'll bet there are not many of those running as well.

Went with the Challenger mostly because of the hood scoop. I opened that up and to date - have not needed a cooling fan for the motor or ESC. Had to trim some of the front spoiler off to keep it off the ground.

I highly recommend the Challenger body. Very durable.

This is a McAllister 1970 Trans Am body. I really like these! I'm running one (orange) and its held up really well. (Walls tend to jump out at me sometimes when I'm racing. ) Front end is durable and the rear spoiler is integral with the body. You have to cut your own window masks with these, but that only takes a couple of minutes. They are printed on masking vinyl, just not cut.

Paint is all Faskolor black with chrome silver. I used liquid mask to do the firebird on the hood and cut the design with my trusty X-acto. Numerals will be the racers choice. Indy RC here in Indianapolis makes a really nice number set for VTA cars. Should look pretty mean with VTA brushed wheels and tires!

Very nice, Scott. I have a PF Firebird of my own to paint soon.

I chose it because I grew up racing Mopar and I didn't want to run a cuda like everyone else. Plus Sam Posey's 1970 Challanger was amazing.

Most likely. I'll have it for sale at the Black Friday Race at Indy RC tomorrow. So hopefully it will get purchased by a local racer. Id like to see it on the track!
