Hey I just mounted the new Parma 69 camaro body and there seems to be a lot, I mean a lot of room between the front bumper and the body. Is this normal? The wheels are lined up in the body cut outs, and If I mounted it any further back the body posts would be half way up the rear window.

+1 Pics would help us understand just how much room you have. On some of my VTA bodies I have added stick-on foam to fill in the space between body and front bumper.

So the camaro body is a 190mm the mustang body sitting in side of it is 200mm. I think there's something wrong here. And it's a Parma body sorry for any confusion

Based on your pictures I can tell you that your body is not a Protoform 69 camaro body. Besides the fact that Protoform does not make a 69 Camaro body. Based on the blunt, flat nose of your body my best guess is that you have a Parma #10143 - 1969 Z28 Camaro Body. Those Parma VTA bodies are made much larger than the HPI or PROTOform VTA bodies, so you can expect to have a large amount of room between the bumper and the body.

. . . . . . . . . The pic below is a Parma #10143 Camaro Body . . . . . . . .

Here's a couple pics of the newest PROTOform VTA body being showcased as the official Pace Car at the Southern USVTA Nationals in Nashville, TN this weekend.

At the USVTA Southern Nationals this morning. We are all having a great time. There are about 60 VTA entries. Some really cool bodies. I am very surprised to find I'm the only one running a McAllister Trans Am. I figured there would be several this year.

One of the Junior VTA drivers is running this Doublemint body. Really cool and that green looks great on the track too.

what i used here is a front bumper from parma. it comes in a square block and you cut to fit your car then you put ur body on mark it and cut the front to fit just inside the front of the body. the bumper is nice and firm will protect yout body and front supension parts very nicely. i have some pics of mine if that will help.
