Thanks SWTour for combining all my recent bodies into one photo. I don't want to think about how much I've spent on rattle cans to paint those bodies! :O

Yup, I'm painting up a number of bodies for a charitable event that SWTour is going to be a race director at. For more info about the event, see post #251 in this thread (http://www.rctech.net/forum/4766567-post251.html). If you are near Santa Maria, Ca at the end of this month you can check out the event which benefits the American Cancer Society. Here is a link the the event - (http://www.cruzinforlife.net/)

...one of the things I notice about the 'VINTAGE' bodies...since they are thicker lexan, they suffer DAMAGE (Dents) but the bodies don't appear to fall apart like the thinner "Race" Bodies.

The 'DENTS' you could consider as battle scars....remembering how and when you got each one.

Dodgeboy, nice use of color - especially the Mustang. Am I correct in assuming that those bodies are mostly paint and not decals? (numbers, bumpers, etc)

I know I can speak for dodgeboy, having seen all of these bodies at our USVTA race last night, that all his vintage bodies are 100% paint. The only decals are his New Joisey license plates....LOL

The Mustang was raced last night, while the other two are being saved for the East Coast race in Maryland.

There are pics of this race on this thread, if you haven't seen it....

Hey guys on a serious note I have no skills when it comes to painting bodies. However, I need one painted for the VTA class this Winter so if anyone would like to make some $$$ shoot me a PM. I will pay a good price for a good paint job.
