Sa-weet!

That rear defroster is a great idea! Maybe not for VTA, but for scaleness...

just found this thread (Mera'din pointed me in the right direction)

here are a couple VTA's I did in '08. The first one I didn't like so I sold it on eBay.

The second was in RC Car mag in Jan '09. I had every intention to do a full interior build, but the idea got canned before I could finish. I did do the roll bars though- they look pretty close to scale.

Most of us just decal them. A few with painting skills will paint them.

Is there anyone with a AI or EPS vector file for the USVTA logo? If so, I'd be really interested in having it. I'd like to put the logo on my next paint job.

I do both for my customers. Some want paint masks, some want decals.

I have my own plotter and do my own decals, could save me time, but I have all the material and programs to make it work. Just figured someone might have something I could work with. Thanks for the link though, I know its high quality work, just like doing stuff for my cars myself when I can.

Sure thing.

These are some mask sets I did for Pete and his boy. I think they turned out great! His boy even did the painting himself and somewhere there is a picture of him not looking too thrilled about having to wear a mask.

I like the paint mask thing myself but there are things that they cannot do. The small detailed sponsor images would be almost impossible for a plotter to cut. For that the decal sheets mentioned above are the way to go. For everything else a paint mask looks best in my opinion.

I have seen the sheets from CSeils and they are top notch! I will be ordering some wheel decals and VTA logos myself. Trying to fund a new X-ray t4 right now!

Speaking of funding, I think I am going to list the "rust" car in the for sale in the next few days. I have a person interested but that may fall through. If you are interested, PM me. It would be the full setup with the body and wheels.
