This is the company you can get the color from . Your going to half to ask him if he has it in spray most of what I get is 2oz bottles for airbrushing.

Hey all! I'm kind of new here, and also new to VTA. Here are a couple pics from my first VTA body!

I remember a little while back there was some discussion about which colors worked well with a gulf paint scheme... and to your guys' luck, my family is fortunate enough to have the real deal! The pics dont compare the paint that well... the car seems much lighter, but they are actually pretty similar in hue. I used tamiya rattle cans for all of my bodies. Tamiya light blue on all of them, tamiya orange on some, and then tamiya flourescent orange on my new VTA body, all backed with white. Some of the bodies are a little older and well used, and sadly not VTA... Hope you guys enjoy!

Awesome job on that Gulf paint scheme! It looks far more authentic than the paint scheme that won the Concourse Comp. at the 2012 ROAR Carpet Nats (see pic below).

Hello, all! I don't know if this is the proper place for this, just getting started in VTA, but has anyone heard from the graphic guy who has been on rctech selling period correct decals and graphics for our cars? I sent him an e-mail order about 8 days ago w/no reply. After looking at his posts, I see nothing newer than a month ago. Does anyone know if he's just busy or quit doing these? THX-Russ

Cant say for sure, but he has a history of happy customers on here. I assume you are talking about Carl Seils. I would give him some more time and maybe look for a backup source for decals.

Edit: McCallister has good numbers and sponsor sheets, they just dont have the custom stuff like Carl does.

HPI used to have these RCGT sticker sheets that had a couple pairs of meatballs with numbers that fit in them, plus some sponsor stickers to go along. those were really nice but I dont think you can get them anymore.

I have been making meatballs with numbers in photoshop and then printing them on plain paper and gluing them in with picture glue.
