I setup my Project CYANide car with 31mm VTA tires front & rear, not so much because of looks, but because wider tires will put more rubber on the ground and corner better. For straight-line drag racing, thinner fronts might be better, but wider is usually better when it comes to cornering.

Spacers, thicker hexes might get your 26mm tires out further, but you might have to install longer arms, CVDs, modify your shock towers & shock lengths, turnbuckle & tie-rod lengths too.

Here is my HPI 1969 Camaro Z28 painted to the GM factory color "Azure Turquoise Iridescent." I used Faskolor Fasescent Turquoise PAR40156 mixed with Faskolor Blue PAR40004.

Color looks perfect Steve! Nice job on the whole car. What paint do you use for your Chrome?

I really like this it looks great. Just put the Optima wheels and body back on it and you are ready to rock.

Thank you snoopyrc, that was originally the plan--but since that car ended up being built so specifically for onroad use, I'm going to build a third fully modernized Optima dedicated for offroad (my first is a Gold Celebration chassis Turbo Optima).

I love it, but what is that on the inside of the tail lights? Is that the front turn signal?
Edit: Ok I see the front turn signal.

Those look like the backup lights, they go down on the rear rollpan on a real mustang. The door handles are on backwards too. Not trying to be a jerk, the paintjob is beautiful!

the dodge challengers are nice, but, well call me spoiled by parma, they are a bit thin for my liking. my driving + thin body = body destroyed on the front end by the 4th race.

with that in mind i painted this up with minimal cutting involved. just rough cut some flames on vinyl with my #11 knife and just stuck em in there. not my best work but it will look alot worse once i drive it.

Gosh i hope the door handles are on right <grin>

hint on my next one. MFP
