Default Mustang Coupe

I have noticed noone seems to be using the Mustang Coupe body and I can't find them in stock anywhere. Have they not been released yet or are they just sold out at the moment?

Looks good Tex! I will be running mine on a TC3. Would you have any trouble getting the VTA wheel and tire package to fit under it on the TC3? I've heard the Mustangs can be a bit of a challange because they are so narrow in the rear.

Default VTA Decals

Just finishing my first VTA body, 70' Camaro, where can I get VTA decals? Waiting for my speedo and motor. Looking at Lipo's and a new charger. When's someone going to come out with a 69" Firebird?

My wife wants one, 69' Trans Am was her first new car, she wants one for her VTA. Which is the best Novak combo to go with, I'm building 2 cars at once. Haven't run my TC3 in at least 8 years, this is a great oppertunity.

Use shoe goo and drywall tape to reinforce the bodies. I used that trick after a couple of destroyed body.

shoe goo first then the drywal tape or other way around? We have been having a discussion in GA section about this too. i was thinking put the drywall tape in first then let the shoe goo fill it in.

On my Mustang, I put in shoe goo to fill the head light and around the grill area and then put the tape on top. Let this dry and then put some tape in the fenders and glue the new tape as well as fill the old tape.

When I tried to put down the tape and then glue through into the grill and light area, it did not work out so well.

if you want 6mm all around, then you need to run 4 rear tires..

the HPI vintage fronts are 0 offset 26mm - rears are +6 offset, 31mm tires..

I ran the camero for a few years on my cyclone TC, and the vintage fronts are perfect for that body - never saw a need to make things wider

if you want the fronts more in the wheel well, they make spacers that will space things out - or get the 6mm wheel hexes that HB sells for the cyclone...but in all honesty, its not needed
