I just finished this body yesterday for a racer friend in CT. Its a Sam Posey "77 Challenger" done with the HPI 1970 Challenger body. Everything is paint except the front and rear grill decals and the "Dodge" on the rear quarter panels. I'll let him decide on additional decals. The Sam Posey 77 is one of the iconic T/A cars I think.

Here are a few pics of my rust bucket '57 Chevy. Not really a VTA body but still vintage.

OK, so the guy I painted this for wants a "General Lee" for VTA! Nope, the right Dodge Charger body isn't available. So, we went with a Cuda. Not 100% right, but I can still picture Bo and Luke Duke at the wheel!

I'll make him a couple of smaller "01" decals for the hood and trunk in case he needs them to be legal at his track. But, I didn't put them in the paint. The side numbers and flag on the top are paint though. All Faskolor.

That one was for a guy in CT. Is that what you mean? He sent me 5 bodies to do all at once. All VTA too! Each is different. I should get them all done this week if I get some time in the evenings.

I used shoe goo on mine. You need to have some other method to keep the halves together until it sets up. Then I put more goo over the seam.

Same process as the Javelin front nose. Only without the screws.

Not VTA but, still cool anyway.

This is my RJ Speed Pro Mod drag car with the '55 Chevy body painted in the '57 Soff Seal scheme. I used internal water slide decals that I made on my printer and Faskolor paint.

With USGT going to 24mm tires and the fact that I've had a very hard time finding any 24mm wheels with anything aside from a 0mm offset, the Charger above might be better for USGT. Not sure it'll fit over the VTA wheels/tires.
