Nothing like a little citrus soda rivalry to go along with a little sibling rivalry. I painted this up for my little brother's birthday. Happy Birthday Matt, here's a rusty ride...

Can't help but hear Donovan's "Call me Mello Yello" song playing in the background...
Great looking car, but those winters in Buffalo, NY and all the road salt sure took there toll on it.

Anybody know if there's a '68-'71 Firebird (or conversion for the Camaros), or a '67-'70 Mercury Cougar out there anywheres?

That's awesome! I did the whole series of Days of Thunder paints masks, still got the files. Might have to do some myself.

Default New BumbleBee???

I know this might be a lil' off topic, but I was looking up some Transformers 4 news and ran across this. It's guessed that this is the new BumbleBee. Might be a cool paintscheme for VTA.

This is wild! State Farm calls this their "Two-face Camaro" which I guess they made for adjusters to use or something. Its stock on one side, and hot rod on the other! I think a guy could do this pretty easy with one of the HPI bodies. Then again, I'm not sure you'd want the looks you'd get. People might think you were nuts!

I saw this car at the Chicago Auto Show two years ago I think. It's some sort of marketing gimmick. It is a really unusual looking car. If I hadn't seen it in person, I might say your pics were "photoshopped" to get that look.

I agree. When I first saw it, I thought it was just photoshop too. Crazy to do that to a beautiful Camaro!

Just finished this HPI '68 Camaro for a local racer here in Indianapolis. Its the classic "Sunoco Camaro" that comes to mind when you think VTA. Everything is paint that you see. No decals. I'll leave that to him. I also painted his wheels to match. Hopefully I will receive some completed photos from him soon. Honestly, the hardest part of the whole body was running the full length pin stripe mask. That was really hard to get in the right place and straight! Took several tries.

I like that shade of yellow on the wheels. Too bad you can't quite get that with dye.
