What an awesome display of painted Firebirds!!!
Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside
I have to admit I'm partial to the blue, orange and white scheme....LOL
I hope everybody likes our 70 Camaro and 68 Cougar just as well.

Did the USVTA powers that be approve a lexan spoiler for the Cougar like they did for one of the HPI Mustangs?

I don't know if anyone approved them or not, but this is what I put on mine for the OVTA class

The official USVTA rules say...

Although McAllister bodies are not listed, I am sure that the same rule of 16mm height from trunk and 20mm chord will apply for the Cougar body too.

Yes it falls under the same rule as the HPI mustangs....so yes you can run a spoiler on the Cougar.

Can anyone help me procure a McAllister Camaro body in Canada? McAllister want a lot of money for shipping (3X more than TQRC charges to ship me bodies). I emailed Stormer a couple of days ago and am waiting to hear back from them with a shipping price.

DBM- Sorry international shipping is so expensive, however we only charge customers what USPS charges us for shipping. You can try Pete at Performance Hobbies in Canada....905-641-5606

Thanks for the Canadian connection Gary. I usually buy from Stormer, if I can't get it locally. Yes international shipping on R/C bodies is ridiculous.

Thanks,
TJ
