Pretty pleased with the outcome...
Hey thanks for the great Idea! I have a SCB body that I'm not using with driver that I'll use and do the same method as you did to attach it to the body.

Several guys at our field have been doing that with good old RIT dye and have had excellent results. What I don't know is how long they've left the wheels in the dye. But they look nice and the colors are nice and bright.

I think it's something like 10-15 minutes and longer if you want it to be darker.

When I dyed my wheels (pics are earlier in this thread), I used yellow Rit dye and with the water/dye simmering I "cooked" each wheel for 5 minutes each. It didn't seem to be getting any darker so that's why I stopped after 5 minutes. I'm very pleased with the results....even now that I've raced on them. They're holding up nicely so far.

Love the front grill work on the yellow Camaro!

Hey MaxThrottle, I used to live in Knoxville many years ago. My Dad still does. Down there, you need to get involved with the guys of ROCCK racing. They seem to all coordinate together.

Thanks for the info on the wheels guys! After I get my M-chassis up and running, the VTA TC3 comes next.
