Made some updates to the MVTARC (Mike's VTA Racer's Club) web page. Now there are 5 video clips, a driver roster, and a race results page with a PDF link showing the top page of all 3 Qualifiers and the Main. Go here and check it out:

They have always included nice hardware with their shells, which is basically the wing mounts that I was thinking about. Weight probably is under anyway.

Thumbs up

There is definitely a TON of interest in VTA racing at Mike's Hobby Shop in Carrollton, TX. I started a thread back in February 2011 and today it has over 2400 views and over 320 posts.

Check out the thread for yourself... http://mikeshobbyshop.com/phpBB3/vie...php?f=3&t=7588

If its not nitro you dont need to seal it. If its a light color then back it with some pactra Sprint white or a white Tamiya. If its dark then Outlaw black. Or Silver then Black.

Ditto. I don't "seal" anything I paint unless it's a nitro body.

If you are using proper Lexan paints (Pactra, Spaztix, FasKolor), you don't need to. The paint bond is stronger than the Lexan once cured.
