I've never heard of any body running nitro on carpet.

He meant installing foam tires used for nitro on electric sedans.

Does having some chunks on your tires cause your car to handle worse or just make your car slower? Mabey I'm just not experianced enough with foams to notice a difference. Anyway, foams are still a ton of fun even if they do make your motor work harder and if the dont last as long and if you break harder .
well i chunk my foams every so often, but i really didnt notice a big change in how the car handled, depending on where the chunks in the tires are will cause the car to do different things. if you have then on the out side of the tire that might make it handle different but shouldnt make too much of a difference i dont think.

It depends how badly chunked they are, when i chunked the rear i could feel it stepping out more in the corners and i couldnt quite take the corners at the same speed as i used to, little tiny chunks make no difference though IMO.

Default foams

I am racing carpet and want to try to race 2 times a week, hopefully stock and mod. So I was hoping someone knows where to get Jaco Foams for the best price.

Gonzo,

If you're in the US, go to KT Hobbies at www.kthobbies.com

Best price i've seen.

Yup, KT Hobbies has the best price on foams I've ever seen. Here's a question I have. do you guys have any opinion on which foams are better? Jaco or TRC (1/10 scale sedan)? I've only used Jaco foams before and I'm considering trying some Trinity ones sometime. Are there any differences between the two? Also if you do have an opinion do you have anything to back it up, thanks!

They are very close in terms of performance. I like the new Jacos better because they have the larger rim (don't have to cut off as much to get teh sidewall you want )
