Times are hard for everyone right now so we all have to play the waiting game. Barry is one of the driver's that people are curious to see where they land. Where's Easton, and Toso??? Someone should do a VH1 where are they now RC version.....

I don't know Barry but as far as I know there is no future in been a RC team driver this is a hobby unless you are the owner of a product and the company you are done for in this so call job in RC racing.... With that said Barry seem to be a guy that people like you should take what you have and do something with that and for get about racing rc car for a living, with your personality you could go for in your own gig just take a chance at doing something for your self and go balls deep with what you are doing and you will over come all this bull.

PS. this is not a personal attack on Barry just a old head with years of life experience you can do better.

I have to step in and say something here...... It is unfortunate that Mr Baker has found himself in a bad situation. Where a manufacture has turned on promises made. I dont know Mr. Baker, nor do I know any details of what has happened.

No one has loyalty anymore. Many pro level racers look for the best deal and the newest ride. It is unfortunate. Loyalty through good and bad times pays off. If I skipped jobs for better money or just cause I was bored with the subject or I felt the product needed updated and was inferior, all the time I too would probably be unemployed right now as my value to an employer goes past what have you done for me latley.

Especially important in todays age

Was very dissapointing news but wish Barry all of the best and hope he gets back on his feet soon.

As for TM i guess the old saying holds true "A leopard cant change its spots"
Would think TM would learn something over the last few years of bad decisions and screwing poeple over.

He Barry!
I feel sorry to hear that things went little wrong for you, even though you yelled at me at the Birds.

RC racing is not easy if you do this professional and have to live from that. There is always some kind of pressure on the driver...he has to represent the company in a good way and he has to win races to get his food.

Its a fulltime job, even more than that. People sometimes don't see that and they think pro drivers are only having fun......

When I was much younger I had the choice to do this fulltime and I am damn happy, that I did not do that. I gladly turned into another business and did RC besides my main jobs. This helped me a lot for my future life.

Try to do something else Barry, there is more than RC, do it besides, have fun and win races.
You are a legend for RC...hope all turns out fine for you!

i pitted next to barry at iic, i have never seen a guy wrench as hard and try so many different things as baker did that week. he turned that car from a bucket into a contender in a matter of 3 days. i'm not trying to blow smoke, but there really are some teams that could benefit from his experience.

if all else fails, i could use scrub buffer at nats this year. j/k, good luck to you, and i hope you find something soon. look me up if you ever come through denver and need a golf game.

Barry is a great guy... except when he pulls you to the side to say hi and farts!

Good luck man, wherever you end up, you'll do any company a lot of good

It looks like Team Magic never learn and just continue to try to play tricks on people.

Appears to be a another example here:

Looks like their impatience to sell cost them a huge distributor. I like the car, but I'm seeing their business tactics stink.
