So the KD is the hot motor right now? What about the CP 19? The reason I ask is because I heard teh CP with Infinity brushes can go a long time inbetween comm cuts and even longer, like 40+ runs inbetween brush replacement. I would be using it for 19t sedan.

I could see the 40+ runs if it were in offroad cars.

You can get a hood alignment tool and realign your hoods.

First remove the springs that hold the brushs in and pull them out of the hood. Spray your endbell out with motor spray, then see if the brush moves in and out of the hood smoothly, then re oil your bearings and test performance on your motor checker and it should be better

Your CO27 and KD19 should rollout the same at 28. Not sure how to gear the checkpoint. I haven't been able to run one yet.

John is pretty much right, CO27's at my track are geard about 28mm rollout. KD's are like 27-27.50mm rollout, and CP19's are about... 29-29.5mm rollout.

I tend to get a CP19 also and tinker with it

"I think" KD's are moer of a RPM motor and CP19's are a torque, i dont recall remember the numbers or anything, i just judge that by the rollouts.

Thats true, and the motor has great power if you gear it right, for on-road you probably won't get 40 runs but it'll be a lot if you don't overgear and overheat the motor.

Its true, I have over 40 runs on the same springs and brushes and only one skim on the com somewhere around on run 23. Its all in TC, big tracks, little tracks all tracks, even had it up to 180 degrees a couple of times, its just keeps on running hard.
