the aluminum looks nice.. but nothing high tech here.. You have no choice but to tape in your packs now.. no holders.

I would like to see Body Sets from Tamiya.. not bling bling cars..

7/10.. because I like the premounted tires!

I would like to mention that the kit falls in line with other "R" designated kits that Tamiya has done. Look at the M03R, TA04R and TA05R; all were just really hopped up kits with no new or innovative parts. This is an F103R, and if it were to feature something new and radical, i suppose it would have to be an F104.

Taping in batteries is something all racers have been doing for a very long time, so this shouldn't be a big deal to most.

The premounted tires were a pleasant surprise, and I hope it is a part we can get a lot of in the future! Can you say spec TCS F1 tire?

I am sorry you seem a bit disappointed, but i would say the kit delivers exactly what was promised.

I've got a question: Where's mine?

Seriously...with all these new cool kits coming out, it's all good, but I can't get one now! boo!

Honda withdrew due to funding. Honda is feeling the global pinch in the economy too.

I would not say I am disappointed.. Just pointing out that I think if you already have an F103.. I would not run out and buy this one.

Interesting.
They make an F1, M-Chassis, and Pro versions. Same ESC, motors come in 2800Kv, 3300Kv, and 3600Kv.

Not sure what turns these are, but Novaks SS13.5Pro is 3300Kv and I wouldn't want to put that in my Mini!

Novak's 17.5 is rated at 2200Kv, so I don't know what these Speed Passions are.

So what are people running in their kits? I've only run the kit motor. Are Black Cans or larger too much?
