BikerBob,

This is the place where I got my arbors from for the F103. They're out of stock at the moment, but should be getting some in soon.

I was looking for arbors for the F1 - We still run full size here.. because we are using a black can and a MED/FIRM still holds up nice.. and using all your size lasts much longer.. but truing your foams is important.. and rear arbor is hard to find.

Store from HK selling it (local retail)...if there are any left, they will put online...some said they will put the leftover online after December 5th. But the chance of having these leftover is slim....(I placed my order awhile ago and not sure I have any left for myself).

Anyway, you could convert your GT back.
Of course...for about $150 USD, I can convert my GT to F103RM, for $200, I can convert to F103R.....but then, buying a F103R cost less.....don't see the reason why I need to convert.

May be I should stick with Mini-Champ's F1 instead..........

I finally finished up my McLaren MP4/7 over the holiday weekend. It came out ok. I'd do a few things different on the next one. Here's some pics...

As usual Vyger , very very nice .
I want to try the same model , Senna was the best even though i am a Ferrari man .
Is that the body from DDrive and decals ?
Mine will be based on the Fire force chassis .

Cheers

Thank you very much. Yes, the decals are from D-drive, and a few from Tamiya. I have a few of the MP4/6 decal sheets Tamiya use to make. The D-drive decals I used are the 1990’s F1, part number 8301. The body is a TRG, it’s their 92M, part number TRG-3005. I’ve put links to each down below.

NICE! RC Mart has the bodies and wings in stock. White front wing, black rear wing. Zen Tires with white rims to complete the look too. Very nice. What color codes are you using for the body red, suit red and helmet yellow?

Hey John, Thanks! I used Tamiya Poly sprays for the body, part numbers 86020 - PS20 Fluorescent Red, and 86001 - PS1 White. For the drivers suit I used Testors Flat Red number 1150 and Flat Black number 1749 for the cockpit. The yellow I used on the helmet is also Tamiya, it’s just their standard Yellow TS 16, part number 85016. The front wing is from a Tamiya McLaren MP4/6 that I got on Ebay and the rear is a Sauber C12 that has the sides cut down to the shape of a McLaren rear wing with Fluorescent Red vinyl adhesive over the top.

Vyger, I hope the TRG wings are fairly close. Same company as the body anyway. I'll know in a week or two. Thanks for the paint codes!

Anyone run a hidden mini bumper to keep the nose cone intact? I'm tempted to run something that's just out of site that extends past the lexan. I'm still learning to drive consistently and so far, I still misjudge corners. I'd prefer to keep the nose straight, if you know what I mean.
