Thanks for the body | wing recommendation bakaguyjean.
I have gone with the 91M, simply because I liked the picture best of the three at d-drive. Hopefully the three orders I have placed will arrive early next week, and I can drive it the following weekend.
Assuming I have everything, all up the rolling car, body, wings and a handful of spares will have cost (inc freight) $425 AUD.
It may have been a little cheaper if I had waited for the R.

I found out yesterday what happens when the tires are too small. I found out my front wing has no steering under braking. I found out I can't accelerate out of corners with one of the front wing tips dragging too. I'd be careful about how much you true the tires. I'm going to hard up front to try and reduce wear. I don't need medium or soft for the carpet we run on. I already have too much traction. I was happy to see that the box foam rears did not wear all that much though.

My distributor should be getting the stock end of this week.
Anyway, you could convert your GT back.

I was looking for arbors for the F1 - We still run full size here.. because we are using a black can and a MED/FIRM still holds up nice.. and using all your size lasts much longer.. but truing your foams is important.. and rear arbor is hard to find.

My F103RM kit says it came with tires with part numbers:
Front: 49498
Rear: 58198/194
I see the Hop-Ups list tires with part numbers:
Front soft: 53134, medium: 53128
Rear soft: 53129, medium: 53135
So what are the kit tires? Are they poorer quality soft, medium, something else?
I'm used to kit tires being junk, but they ran fine in my initial test and are the same price as the hop-ups on the Tamiya web site.
I got a set of the hop up medium fronts and soft rears, but haven't had a chance to test them yet and when I feel them I can't tell a difference.
What do people know about these kit tires?
Thanks.
