Rcmart is very good, especially when using EMS. I've found that standard airmail they can be a few days slower than most, but EMS usually goes out the same day. I like to wait till I have a big enough order to justify EMS. Stella Models is another good place, and Jason's Rc on ebay is probably my most favorite HK seller. He has by far the most F103 bodies and hop-up parts than anyone out there.

Can you convert the f103rm to run touring car wheels like the f103gt.....we are trying to find a spec-class for our club....we all like F-1...but if we wanted to, for a special occasion, run 190mm bodies would/could that work??

Hope someone can help me out!!

Thanks,
Roy
Roy, you can make it work, you require the GT from spindles, and GT rear axle end pieces. The F1 tires and GT setup arent easily interchangable. Id say, if you go the way of a F1 Spec class (silver cans!) it would be amazing racing. Only thing to consider is the tires. You can get a heap of foam tires for the F1's, but the rubber tires are very scarce. But with silver cans, sticks packs, the foam tires would last for ages. I think add to it that the F1 cars dont generate as much downforce as a TC body, you would have an exciting class. Also these chassis are VERY strong. Ive never broken a expensive part on any of my F103 chassis since i started racing them in '95. I have 5 RTR F1's so if you want to generate a little interest, let me know and ill bring them all down and see what the guys think. They all have silvercans in them, all are from different era's (bodywork) and would look amazing running around the Karz track!

Anyone??

With all of the excitement about tamiya brining back f1 I surfed over to ebay and found a really nice f103 and looks like it has hardly been ran here are some pictures,looking forward to running f1 again.

I bought several body sets over the last years, also recently a couple. Decided not to use all the bodies and decided to sell some bodies I have multiple.
Check and get yourself a nice NIB rare Tamiya bodyset;

Has any tried using a 103Rm as a basis for a world GT car?... could they work?... does anyone see any potential problems?

Also... has anyone seen/used the Kawada rear suspension conversion?

If not wrong i think yours is the F103L. It is a longer version of the F103

looks like a standard wheelbase 103 to me bro... the body is the Williams FW18 but the front and rear wings are from the PIAA Nakajima Formula Nippon body set.
