The L body could also be considered a Benetton as the Ligier was basically a copy. I have an old Protoform body that has both names on it.

No tire shaving needed, but you may want to get them trued a little . The tires are 62 mm out of the box.

Does anyone run the F103 on carpet with the rubber tires?

I just picked up a used car, and have wanted a F1 car for YEARS, I can't wait to give it a try even if there is no class to race it in where I run. They are just so cool. I don't think it will be all that different then a 1/10 pan car.

Thanks.

It is in UPS at the moment with a January 30 date to arrive. But you can bet I will be out with the car. Do you know if Chuck can get Tamiya bodies? I am going to have to do up a Honda or Toyota body for this new car.

I hope you mean Dec. 30th....lol

Tamiya will be releasing the "M" type clear body real soon....Once it's available he should be able to get it.

I'll have my R with me this coming Sunday on the track...with foams.

I haven't read the whole thread yet (still on page #10), but I just wanted to let any of you guys who race in the Indianapolis, Indiana area that there are a few guys racing the F103 on an oval at Indy Slots.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/oval-lar...ianapolis.html

There isn't enough interest for the road-course yet, but we'd also like to get that started.

Silver can only...TCS rules.

I will actually be racing it this weekend in WGT class...at least for a heat or 2.

It makes them perfectly round with respect to the center of the rim after you mount the tires to the rims.

Great I am wanting to see one in action, will a silver can keep up with the WGT cars, they are pretty darn quick? I am chomping at the bit for my car to get here. I was working on loctite on my mini. Depending on if I get everything back together I may run the mini this weekend..But I lost some more screws...I was going over all my stuff to see if I had the right sizes...I may need to bum a screw or two off you again.

Do you have any pics up of the body yet...you always have the best looking car bodies.

They are plenty quick with the silver can. Not WGT quick, but close!

I've got plenty of spares....just let me know Sunday.

I'll have pics up with the body mounted tonight on the Topeka onroad thread. I just did a basic F310B.
