12.5A Pwr supply for two chargers?!

I usually charge at 5.0A and I'm wondering if my 12.5A power supply will handle these charges simultaneously with two LRP Pulsar Competition chargers. If not, I'll just keep my 16x9 and run one LRP off of the built in power supply, but I'd rather have two LRPs for the sake of space.

It should be fine. I wont definitively say yes. I ran a 14A power supply with 2 chargers charging at 6A and it was fine.

I usually run two chargers but my power supply puts out 20 amps
I don't think you'll have problems if you keep them both at 5 amps. What you need to check is if the 12.5 amps are constant or
peak. If that is peak then I would not try two chargers at 5 amps

12.5A Pwr supply for two chargers?!

Look at the INPUT watts (amps) of the Chargers to determine if your PS will handle both chargers. The INPUT requirements might be more or less than the amps being output.

Like minicoop said, is that 12.5 peak or constant? You always go by the constant or continous rating. This is the current that the ps can handle without overheating. If you have a 12.5 amp ps that has a continous rating of 12 amps, then yes, you can power 2 chargers at 6 amps each.

so i guess it would be safe for me to use 2 chargers at 5.0 amps on my 14amp PS. right?

(14 amps cont. and 18 amps peak)
