I bought a sx9 from my hobby shop.....who sponsors me....for $70, he got a deall on them since they are now discontinued. It had been shutting off on me during a race and getting stuck at half throttle.
So...I was at the Norcar Halloween Classic. The guy from Horizon was there and he gave me an SX12 to replace it. Mine is the one with the heatsink. Best speedo I have ever owned....VERY punchy
and the resistance is half of what I have ever seen before
LOL, they aren't the easiest things in the world to change settings on!!
I used V12's years ago and they were just the same. I did manage to change the torque limit on my old sx9!! Was thinking of turning the torque down on the SX12 just to try and help it so it doesn't get too hot. I am planning on running it in my touring car this week, then it will probably go in my Corally 12th car as it is nice and small.
does anyone have or know where i can get the manual preferably online for V12XC? can't seem to find it in GM's website there's a mint unit for sale for quite a reasonable price..just wondering if it's worth the bucks
Originally posted by che The SX9 does not have a motor limit, but they they suggest nothing less than an 8 turn.
That's what THEY want you to think.. no motor limit = no need to give suggestion... even on 8 turns, try to run Krypton at 5 deg timing with mathced 3300 baterries for 15minutes (3 bats) in a row.. it will fail you...
