so my 13.5 is a pos and i cant really get anything out of it. wondering if i would have any success dropping my spare 17.5 in, and gearing/boosting it like a 12th scale or somewhere between.

would it be worth my while to fire up the soldering iron, or should i just sit out until the new motor arives?

was also tempted to just get a 10.5 and run blinky wgt. would it be competitive running against the prodominently D3 boosted 13.5s?

Two 10R5s for sale in the classified section. Will make you a good deal. Tons of WGT Spec tires. Cant do it any more, they gotta go. Sucks

Bad url need login.

It is like in dtm, inside spring = softer feel, outside spring, harder feel.

Moving them inboard results in a lower motion ratio... Thus for a spring of rate X, the effective spring rate seen @ the chassis will be higher with springs mounted outboard(say, on the links) than with them mounted 8mm inboard.

I wish AE would update the car. Current WGT's are working best with center lipo's. Just take the 12r5.2 rear end and damper assembly and bolt it to a new, simple rectangular chassis then both the existing front end to it. This new chassis would be cheaper to produce....fewer cut outs. Like a Speed Merchant WGT3 but blue and with the R5 front end.

There is a lipo kit present for the 10R5 without drilling in the chassis.
