How long do you take to build your kits...
Thought it would be interesting to find out how long people spend putting together a new kit. I swear it must take me 6-8 hours b/c Im too much of a perfectionist about it. I could imagine someone like Hara could build a Cyclone in under an hour from memory.
From kit to rolling chassis. Not including electronics or body painting.

From kit to rolling chassis 6-8 hours...
Day two:
30-45 minutes for my onesie paint job and stickers...
1-2 hours wiring...I like to be neat...
30 minutes to an hour for track setup...balancing, radio setup, ect, etc...
Since I'm usually excited I try to pull an all nighter and get it all done in one night

Considering a race 12th, and they are much simpler, I take about 20 hours. I remember the day I got my DB12R I got it around 3, and worked until 10, and only had the chassis sealed and the rear pod and suspension together. Then the front end was so much longer because of all the shims and reaming and all that. Then building the diff was at least 2 more hours.
