L4, B4, T4 - Is there a TC4 coming?
With the recent introductions of the L4, B4 and T4, I can't but wonder if there is a TC4 on the way.
Anybody close to AE have any thoughts on this?

I'd like to see an RC10GT4.

i hope TA comes out with a tc4 too, the xxx-s and other cars , are starting to win almost every time. Along with the pro4 coming out(a great car), and yokomo and tamiya coming out with a new car every month, TA needs to keep up, there car is just tooooo old. I would like losi to come out with a nitro touring car or micro too.

Yeah, until AE starts to lack in nationwide and worldwide events (not happening any time soon...Mark Pavidas just won the 2003 ROAR Paved On-Road Electric Nationals) I think they will stick with what works. Even if they do decide to create another TC, R&D would take close to a year, then getting the parts made for mass production would take another few months. I say, hold your horses.

okay you guys, u've convinced me that TA shouldn't come out with a tc4, but wouldn't be cool. And a losi nitro xxx-s would be good, i'd buy one.

anyways, there have been many rumors, ONLY rumors, that a new car will be released late 2004, but who cares

There isn't really much they could do to it anyways. The only main things I could thing of are using a pivot ball suspension and possibly using the nitro TC3's steering system. Other then that I don't think there is much to change, but then again, why change something that works like evaa said?

They could move the battaries closer to the centerline of the car. And they could also put bladders in their shocks. But otherwise the car is still good.

Yea, thats another thing, my car handles much better with the batteries closer

... i agree, Associated isn't in a rush to replace the TC3 as long as it's still competitive, which it still is... plus the fact the every other major manufacturer has come out with their own shaft driven TC's
... but it's not saying that TC3 couldn't be improved, i ran one and i believe that the car can still be improved...
... a losi nitro TC would be cool...
