dude, every PT has like 20 numbers installed ... so it shouldn't be difficult to get every PT on a different personal code.

They are cheaper then that... right now a custom is $68 and a clone is $75 shipped to your door

How is it you are getting $75.00, I took the price of the cloning 44.50 plus shipping 5.50 and came up with 50.00. You convert that total amount from their money to ours and it is $80.00. The only way I am getting it wrong is if I am converting their money as the wrong currency.

Don't try to convert it!... let the site do it.

Go to rclaps.com, put an 9982 in my basket, selected "clone", standard LED, standard wire lenght... and clicked "buy". Next page, upper left corner, select your country... converts it for you. $71.29 plus $4.23 shipping... $75.52

Like Terry said, you might have been using the UK price with VAT tax.

Ok, got it yea thought I needed to convert first. Hey thanks for helping me, when I get the money I can finally order one. If you order one after you had yours cloned and got the two back how much is a cloned one. I cannot get the website stuff to work for me.

Just got in my new PTX today.
It´s about same height as the AMB now but about half the footprint as Terry said.
I´m not sure if I could post a picture later as I´m leaving early in the morning for holidays. But next week for sure.
Anyway picture from old and new PTX will just differ slightly (lower height).

Ok that's cool. Really wish I had the funds right now. It is the perfect time right now. We're in the off season.

So the new PTX is not only less height but also smaller footprint.

i think that the foot print is the same. i think it is just one of those optical illusions. i took the pic at an angle and the taller object was close to me. if you look at the original ptx, the edge of the ptx is not parrallel with each other.

My PTX was working great until a friend of mine opened the casing thinking of cutting the wire short, but found that the silicone was wrapping the PT and put back the casing without doing anything. Right now, the PTX is causing the car glitch! (removed PTX car was OK). Any1 encounter this? Terry, any idea of the problem and what's the solution? Send it back?

Thanks.

True/False...
1) Your ptx transponders come with 21 IDs.
2) 20 of the IDs are from a huge pool of IDs owned by MRT.
3) A custom ID is assigned to a customer as their ptx default ID and for reordering.
4) A custom ID still belongs to the huge pool of IDs and can show up as one of the 20 IDs in other ptxs.
5) A cloned ID remains owned by the customer and kept out of the huge pool of IDs if the customer does not trade in the AMB transponder.
6) A cloned ID is handled as a custom ID if the customer trades in the AMB transponder.

Thanks!
