Yes you can just order a transponder, you'd need to order a 'custom ID' PTX not a cloned one. Details at www.rclaps.com

Yes we can clone AMBs with damaged power leads, we can most times clone broken PT's too. If we can get it working long enough to read out the number we can clone it! It's when they are in bad shape that the 'trade in' clone order is a good option

terry you cloned my amb a couple of months ago and it just great ,i did not realise i could change the numbers and still get back to the cloned number ,cheers

Thinking about selling my second AMB-transponder and replacing it with a clone of my first one.
I'm just waiting for some low-competition-time to send it in.

Hi Low_E, it would take about a week to 10 days with us plus the shipping time back to you. If it's a regular length lead and a blue LED it's likely to be quicker turn around because they are not custom built (apart from the number).

The new 'PTX Custom Clone Order Form' (v11/08) with lower custom/clone prices and multiple order discount is now available at www.rclaps.com The standard PTX clones with a Blue LED and 190mm (approx 7") lead are available as well as customised versions.
When sending your original PT to us please use order tracking and insurance if you can, also make sure you send your PT in a strong padded envelope or a small box. All the information, options and prices are on the order form.

I'm looking to send a personal transponder in to get it cloned, however I'm slightly confused on the price. I am looking to order 4 clones and the pricing says "multiple discount ($5usd) off of one transponder." Does this mean if I order 4 the price will be 60+60+60+55?

Hi DirtyRacer, a clone with mounting tabs is not custom. The 'no tabs' or 'with tabs' option is available with clones and non-clones, the custom options are choice of LED and lead length. A standard PTX has either tabs or no tabs with a blue LED and a 190mm (approx 7") lead. In addition there are also cloned/non-cloned Shrink versions available with standard or custom options.
