Default Anyone tried this: VXL Velineon ESC with 7700kv Mamba Max? I will...

I will use that setup... so I would like to know what you guys noticed when you tried it, or how do you like that setup? Or what do you think this setup is going to react?

Will I be able to access to the full limit of my 7700kv with that ESC I mean.. I know it can only use 2s lipo and stuff.. but.. will the ESC let me access to the full power of this motor?

The problem is not an electrical one. A 7700 KV just reach it's mecanical limits on 3S, that mean the rotor will be under massive stress @ this RPM. You can try 3S on it even with a mamba max but this push both the battery and the motor to there limits. The advantage to use Velineon ESC instead of mamba max is the overall simplicity and ability to use sensor

(But I never ever heard of somebody use it with a sensored motor)

I believe that the limit is the battery not the ESC.
