Well, NiMh scare me to death, and I just charged my first pack of 3000's. I have a Novak Millenium (origional) and charged them at 4 amps with no trickle and a current amp draw of 5 amps. When they were done they were warm. I don't know how warm they can be while charging before it's dangerous. Should they be ok? They were plenty cool to hold in my hand. I hit them with the temp gun, and got a reading of about 110 farenheit, but I think that is may have been a little off due the batteries being small. Do you guys think they are ok, or should I lower the amps to 3? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks-Mike

4 amps are fine and cud go up to 6 if u wanted but remember lower run time!110-250 are fine but over wud mean overcharging or dody cells etc.i wud not recommend trickle charge on 3000 or 3300.they will b ok at that temp tho.

Thanks! I was a little...actually really scared there. I'm going to keep it at 4 amps, I need the extra battery life. I'd rather have my batteries last me a while then have that exta 'punch' that charging at 6 amps gives you.

How much extra punch would 6 amps give you over say 5 or 5.5 amps? I want to get the most out of my battaries so I can be competetive but I also want to have my battaries last a long time. I think I'll just stick with 5 amps or something around that for my new 3300's. I've been charging at 6 amps for my older ones because I got them used from a guy and he said to charge them at 6 amps cuz that's what he did.

It will mainly only feel more punchy for the first few laps then they will feel just like normal.

Just got done testing my car, would have rather done it at the track but oh well. All I can say is I love NiMh and NiCd suck

dont get sanyo 3300's

in about a month they go down to 3000's

i hate them
my gp's are still at 3300-3600mah

gp's all the way dont even bo ther trying sanyos

it just really depends how you treat them
but for sanyo's they are impossible

im planning to make my own battery zapper but i dont know how long to zap them for. and what are the steps and stuff. like charge them then zap or discharge then zap. and so on and so on. some people told me to throw the sanyo's away. hell no

I got lucky, it only has 1 run on it, maybe 2 so i can sell them and get SOME money out of them . I also am getting 2 NIP Promatch Sanyo 3000's. Any thought on those?
