Hello N.E. Racers!
I'll try not to take much space, but in line with the spirit of the NE GrandSlam I wanted to throw out a plug for a smaller but estabilished track that has not stopped running carpet year round for at least 3 years straight.

New ‘bright’ lights, wicked comfortable office chairs for the pits and great driving. We have a GROWING number of drivers and varying skill sets from last years IIC 1/12th stock champion to new drivers running our ‘speedspec’ class (pro10 with a Mabuchi) and everything in between plus a very active forum. Rcexcitement.com if you want more information.
On a slightly different note and track, the memorial race for the late owner of ‘Hyperform’ is coming up at Maximus Raceway in York, ME. http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=225316 The potential for talent at this race includes Boice, Smyka, Strasnick, Gallenski, Hanes and if I reach all the way down to NY there is the entire 360 crew. With SpeedMerchant local to our area and our growing group of racers, we have a chance to have a high powered memorial race. So, if there is any way to make this race it would be a great chance to race for a great cause and its always a great time at Maximus.
Thanks for your time and slight diversion from this thread,
hope to see you at RcE or Maximus,
