Congrats there, Larry!!

Great to hear a local boy go out there and compete with the "big boys" - but I guess you already are a "big boy"

Whats this "disadvantage" everyone keeps mentioning? I know its an original design, but does that make it a worse design? Seems to me like its fully capable of winning at any event. You have to give respect to Losi for having the balls to come out with a TC that wasnt just another copy cat of the basic 2 belt layout. Congrats to Larry Fairtrace and Losi for the win.

Were there any "contenders" running LiPo's?

A certain opinonated person once proclaimed the Type-R was "fundamentally flawed" or something dumb along those lines. Just laugh along with us without knowing who it was, 'cause it'd be rude to flush him/her out now just for a beating.

Is it too early to ask for his setup?? Or should we wait and let him enjoy the spoils of victory? Great job!!

People who think that this car has a disadvantage amongst other's are seriously ignorant and they need to wheel the car around the track and then talk,
heck,
just today i won the 8th annual hobbytown usa trophy dash in 19t touring, regardless of the fact that i was the only one actually running a brushed motor (most were 10.5's, yeah, i know, our track rules are kinda "off" but whatever) with this car.
faulty on asphalt?
i've heard this before, but just like any other touring car you HAVE THE ABILITY to set it up for damn near any situation.
My car was dialed, pretty far off the stock rubber tire setup, yet dialed.
congrats to losi on the win.

speaking of which, are there any setup sheets of this winning car?
i'll be interested on what he did to it.

-edit- just saw previous post on asking for a setup

I talked to him briefly online today and he said it is not a setup that would really work anywhere else. I am sure he will post it, but if you don't have the conditions of Reedy, it may not work for you. He did say it was way different from the normal asphalt setup he and Jason run.

i raced a few times on the speedmind 36 premounts and they are definitely a different tire than sorex 36's with better inserts. not bad, not awesome, just different.

Does his name start with an A and end with a drian?

Congrats, Larry. I guess I need to scrape the 007 and use the Type R for both indoor and outdoor. I will save a lot of money that way.
