Managed to get info from another Jap website. Shipping will commence from 26th Jun. Pre-order is accepted is including shipping to SG, it'll cost abt $330(Kit only)
Interesting. I was worried about the size of the pinion that it can house, but seems it can go pretty big. I wonder what the limitation of the spur gear is. I run both 27T and BL, so I need a pretty wide range of gearing.
I can see the tamiya magic that is about to unfold with the option parts.
carbon reinforced A,K,M (M is pratically for the shock tower only) The chassis(big bucks), motor mount(maybe not as overkill as the TA05).
At least the arms, universal, and stabilizers fit directly from my IFS-R
Just picked one of these up to compete in the Tamiya GT class here in Okinawa. Got all the hop ups as well (just waiting on the rear input shaft and CVD's as they sold out the day they arrived).
Looks to be a nice kit. I'm wondering how it'll fair in hopped up form against my TA05-R.
Ok, I like the kit it looks like a good Idea for GT2 in TCS, however I have been told that all previous TB cars has a problem, upon impact the teeth on the rear diff would ship. Does anyone know if this has been addressed.

Yes, it does happen, but you can prevent it. For shaft drive cars, you have to be very precise on the shimming of the diff and bevel gears. Since tolerances vary, you need keep adding/subtracting shims until you get a near zero slop drivetrain. You can do this by first adding shims to the e-clip that holds the bevel gear to the center shaft. Make sure that there is no slop here. Adjust the backlash of the two gears to the point where it's a little tight with the cover on, and then take out 0.1mm. ensure that is smooth, and that should be it.
Also, try not to be full throttle when you crash or being flipped over by the marshalls.
are the internal gears for the TB-03 the same as the EvoV? EvoIV? interested to know which ones to get, esp for the front one way gear and the bevel gears.
