all you'd need is the front shock mount to make it non-IFS
titanium/aluminum screws all around with the lightweight bodysets from proline or tamiya should drop your weight considerably. also the blue lightweight driveshafts.
Wrong the max spur is 96T 64P. That what I got and I dont think higher teeth will clear the cover, there not alot of clearance

Smile SUSPENSION BLOCK

GUYS,

HOW DO YOU INSTALL YOUR ALUMINUM SUSPENSION BLOCKS? 1. UPRIGHT WHEREIN YOU SEE THE SUSPENSION BLOCK TYPE IE: 1X OR 2. DOWNRIGHT WHERE THE BLOCK TYPE CANNOT BE SEEN.

I am using a TA05 front bridge suspension mount that has the hump in the middle of it for the belt to run through. This clears the chassis molding.

Default Impressive

Hi Guys.
Ive got a TB-03 up and running now and im impressed.

Ive been running various versions of the TA05 for a long time now, and this is perhaps a faster car in its element.
Its got tonnes of high speed steering, you can really push it going in, and the shaft really jumps out of corners also, I drove up the back of a couple of guys were I usually sit behind them comfortably with my TA05.
Oh I run 17.5,

And just a few things that I had trouble finding elsewhere.
You can get it down to 3.5 roll out.
I takes standard 2 or 4 hole spurs from kawada or Kimbrough.(48P)
I use 66T Kawada with about a 38 pinion since we have roll out limit.
But you can stick a 60T spur from Robinson racing in it and get down to your minus 4 roll outs.

Ive found it to be a long car, ive dropped the front tyres back to make it push slightly off power and rotate faster mid corner, and ive gone with a sway bar up front because its pretty twitchy without.
So far 7 wins from 8 starts aint bad.

anyone tried running the TB03 with a 13.5? rubber on asphalt? would appreciate pix on your install.

also, any tips on taking care of the diff pinion gear and bevel gears? they seem to be a bit fragile even with minor taps on the wall...

You will still need to use the 1mm plastic for this,
or you can make it with 4mm spacer on FR and RF (upside down)
1mm spacer on FF and FR

Default lipo size

What is the biggest 7.4 2c lipo that the TB-03 can fit in the chassis without modification? Thanks in advance.

How fragile is the diff pinion gear? i was thinking of getting this car to run 17.5 motor with a spool in the front.

its very durable unless you run your car into a concrete wall. then you have other issues.

i've been running mine in RCGT which is 17.5. I also use a spool up front.
