Default WTB TCS Legal well optioned TB03

I am interested in seeing if anyone out there has a good, TCS legal, well optioned TB03 that they are willing to part with. I'd like good pictures and a fair asking price. Please feel free to PM me if you have one that you would part with.

Thanks

It's nice to see this chassis still competing I just finished wiring up a TB03r with gear diffs and I'm itching to get some parking lot action going tomorrow for fun. I was lucky to find an awesome deal on the roller with a bunch of spares and options.

I really wanted lighter blue wires but this is all I had.

Well I hope I can bring this thread back for a day to answer a burning question I have...

How the heck do I get down to a 4.0 FDR without modding the gearbox?

Right now I'm running a 37 tooth pinion (which seems to be almost the limit) and a 66t spur gear. If I'm not mistaken, that's around a 4.4 FDR?

I'm using a 55 tooth spur with a 36 tooth pinion. FDR 3.7

Robinson Racing Gears - p/n 1855

Ahhh thank you! I had no idea Robinson made gears that worked.

Can you use a smaller pinion like a 34/33 and still reach the spur?

I think you can. What FDR are you trying to achieve? You could also get the RR 60 tooth spur and play with gearing. I have both and use whatever I need for each track.

Well the local guys have been running a 4.0 fdr for the 17.5 blinky class so I'm trying to emulate that as close as possible. I just wanna be sure I can gear down if 3.7 is too much for my motor. And until now I thought 66t was the smallest 48p spur available lol I'm still picking things up as I go both for this chassis and on-road in general

I think I should get a couple of each spur so I have more options to try during the next practice day.

Love my TB03, a lot of custom parts, but kept the spirit of the TB03..

It is a beast in USGT. Running up with very competitive cars.

That looks clean man were those CF top deck bits custom?

I just picked up a new tb03 with full 418 suspension and I actually think I like this setup more than my TB03r. I'm going to test both running 17.5 with the same gearing

The entire thing is carbon Fiber

I based what I could off of the EVo3

The shocks are Yeah racing with the Tapered pistons ( Only reason i bought them ) but after shafts, orings and plastics, they are pretty much TRF. I do use the Short stack TRF springs due to the design configuration of the front now. They are much wider apart. I find this to be extremely stable on the high traction tracks.

Oh nice it's looking good haha I missed the chassis there. I think the rougher nature of my local track probably prefers the tub chassis but if I got a deal on the 3racing conversion, I'd give it a shot
