1/18 scale at a big event
Can micro onroad could be included as demo or official class in one of the big race like the snowbird...etc?
I know some people thinks that micro car is just a toy but I think it's really more then a toy.

micro's at big events
hey there: That is a nice thought, but there are two things that need to be concidered. First 1/18th scale requires a smaller track to run well on so that's one issue. Also the schedule's at many big races are already full,so you'd probably have to drop an existing class to get the 1/18th scale in. Just my thoughts thanks

Bump. Yea, 1/18th mod these days can be fast or faster as a 17.5 class. Maybe a exhibition class so not to knock any established classes out?

As is any of our multiple scales in the hobby. You just spend more.

it would work, but the only problem is itd have to be mod only and it would have to be top drivers to make them look good. stock micros are fun, but only in apppropriate spaces (or with a spec mod motor). mod will run well on big tracks, but it will take a bunch of good drivers and setups to make them race well, otherwise you just advertise just how much of a pounding these things take

the rules used at the last micro nats would suffice.. a minumum weight would be nice but other than that rules already exist. not that you can get hogwild on an M18's setup anyways..
